This harness was designed to connect a Caterpillar 3456 engine to a Controls Inc CX-8355-AX Panel.

It will work with:

• 3176C,
• 3196,
• 3406E,
• 3456 engine.

Serial number prefixes: 6BR 1DW 2AW 3LW. 

A 9BZ Genset engine will also work to convert it to an industrial engine but you will need to reflash the ECU. 

The Controls Inc Panel with Axiomatic includes a J1939 TSC1 to PWM out converter that is necessary to throttle the 3456 over J1939. 

This harness measures 8 ft from Customer Connector to Control panel connector.
