FPTEDC7.1.3 Cursor 13 Tier III Off-Road Industrial Control Harness

This Harness was developed to connect a FPT C13ENTX20.00800 engine to a Controls Inc CX-8355 Control Panel. 

The Engine does not naturally accept J1939 TSC1 throttle commands. There is a company in PA that can reflash the ECU and turn this feature on. I am currently in development of a converter. 

The base harness has a resistive jumper bypassing Grid Heat Relay and Fuel Heat Relay as we are not using those options. Select the additional variant to add this. 

From control panel connector to ECU connector, the harness measures 8ft. There is an additional 3ft run from near the ECU to the Alternator Excite connection. You will need to include a 6AWG cable from the alternator to the battery for charging. It is recommended to install a fuse on this cable rated for the alternator output. 

There is an un-fused, 40 A starter relay circuit included. Crank signal comes from Pin D on the control panel connector to Pin 86 of the relay. 

Power connections come from the 3/8 (10mm) terminal on the starter. Ground connections come from a 5/16 (8mm) empty boss on the block. Power, Ground, and Crank have 1.5ft leads from the split on the harness. There is 2ft from the split to the ECU connection, allowing ample room for Securing the harness.
